How big is the charger for 36v lithium battery

36V lithium battery has a wide range of uses, used in electric vehicles, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, balance cars, karts, a large number of domestic and foreign used in different products, the use is very wide, but also by consumer recognition.

36V lithium batteries are used in different products, the rated capacity is different, and the charger requirements used are also different. Now we will give an example to understand how big the charger is.

Have a professional knowledge: charge and discharge current = rated capacity × charge and discharge rate, charge and discharge rate standard is 0.2C

If the rated capacity of 36V lithium battery is 100ah, its charging rate is 0.2C, the charging current = 100Ah × 0.2C = 20A,36V100Ah lithium battery is equipped with 36V20A charger, and the charging time is 100Ah ÷ 20A = 5 hours.

If the rated capacity of 36V lithium battery is 80ah, its charging rate is 0.2C, the charging current = 80Ah × 0.2C = 16A,36V100Ah lithium battery is equipped with 36V16A charger, and the charging time is 80Ah ÷ 16A = 5 hours

The charging rate can be set at 0.5C or 1C in design. In this way, the charging speed will be much faster and the charging time will be greatly shortened.

If the rated capacity of 36V lithium battery is 50ah, its charging rate is 0.5C, the charging current = 50Ah × 0.5C = 25A,36V50Ah lithium battery is equipped with 36V25A charger, and the charging time is 50Ah ÷ 25A = 2 hours
